Fitted with off-set valves, especially for Lambretta rims, alleviating the stress often placed on other types of tube valves, incorrectly fitted to Lambrettas. Most tubes place the valve on the centre line of the tube but the hole in the rim is offest to one side. The Mypol tube has the valve 6mm offset of the centre line of the tube.
Please note that many remade Lambretta rims have the hole for the inner tube valve stem in the wrong place which makes the valve touch the fins on the rear hub. You could fit a Michelin tube with 90 degee bend but as the valve is in the centre of the tube on the Michelin you have to pull the valve over to meet the hole in the rim. The hole in the rim is offset from the centre of the rim and the Mypol inner tube is designed with this in mind. So with the Michelin tube the valve is always pulled under stress whereas the Mypol is only stressed when you need to pull it slightly to get an air line onto it. The Scootopia rims have the hole in the correct place which puts the valve in between the fins on the rear hub so not an issue. Also NEVER use a 90 degree valve on a front hub as the valve can hit the disc link bolt nut with potentially disastrous consequences. NOT FOR USE ON VESPA RIMS, valve faces the other direction on a Vespa tube.
